The children are settling in nicely! They are getting familiar with our morning routines and are enjoying their new friends!! They continue to work on "Filling Buckets". Our SK students have all been wonderful leaders and are continuing to help our new JKs adjust to their routines.
This morning instead of a story, Pete the Cat greeted us with a little booklet called "A Fire Drill At School". We practiced what to do if the alarm goes off. The children did a great job exiting the building quietly. We will have another practice on Friday.
There is a reminder about the "Welcome Back BBQ and Student Led Classroom Tours", taking place next Wednesday, September 17th from 5pm - 7pm. Please feel free to "bring your own picnic" to the BBQ. We know that some families have food allergies and options are not always available to accommodate every allergy.
We were very busy in our classroom again today. There was a lot of building going on today using blocks, tangrams and puzzles. Here are some great pictures!
