Wednesday, October 8th: This morning to celebrate fall we cleaned out a pumpkin. The children are excited for our upcoming visit to Saunders and of course, Halloween! Later this month, we will carve our pumpkin into a Jack-O-Lantern!! This afternoon we read the book, "How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin?" Mrs. Byrne collected all of the seeds from our pumpkin and she is going to roast the seeds tonight and then we are going to have them for snack tomorrow. Here we are harvesting the pumpkin seeds ... Our interest in patterns and patterning continues! The children have been creating and identifying AB patterns, AAB patterns and many more! Here are some great pics of us and our patterns!! We are also excited about our fall writing. We are using vocabulary words in English and in French and then illustrating them! We are doing some fabulous work! The marble run was a popular choice today! We created many interesting (and complicated) structures!! Have a wonderful evening! :)
