Wednesday, March 25th: We began our morning with some outdoor play and gross motor work. We decided to take advantage of the warmer weather and embrace spring by playing outside. Here are some great shots of our outdoor play. We are continuing our "Community Helpers" inquiry and started a new project today. Each child is completing a "When I grow up I want to be a" writing activity complete with picture. We started the writing portion today; so far we have firemen, policemen, pilots, hockey players and ballerinas! The children are writing in English and in French using our vocabulary cards as a guide. Awesome work! This morning was about working on our gross motor skills and this afternoon we worked on our fine motor skills. We had fun using melting beads to create neat shapes! Not only did we work on our fine motor we were practicing our math skills too! The shape exploration continues. Our friends are really enjoying exploring shapes using the magnetic blocks and tangrams. Here are some great photos of their creations. Finally these friends were having fun building with the marble run and then racing their marbles. Have a great evening :)
