* Reminder *
Please label all of your child's belongings (clothing, water bottles). We are getting a number of items forgotten in the classroom and the children often cannot identify their belongings - it will help to return them to their rightful owners if they are labelled. Thank you!
I apologize for the late post. Unfortunately, I am still sick so this will be my only post this week. I am hoping things will be back to normal next week.
We have started a "space" inquiry. The children are excited to learn about the planets and space travel. Yesterday, we watched a short video of Neil Armstrong landing on the moon. As you might expect, we are turning our dramatic play area into NASA - mission control and a rocket! If you have any items at home that you think would work we love to have them. We are looking for some headphones - the bigger, older style (not the small earbuds for the iPads) - our "mission control" operators will need them to communicate with our astronauts. :)
Our morning activities revolved around space. Some of my friends were doing research on the sun with Mrs. Meredith while others were building rockets with the tangrams and some were looking at books discovering the different planets! Here are some great photos!
