Monday, March 2nd: Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! We kicked off our Dr. Seuss week this morning by reading the book "Happy Birthday to You". Don't forget tomorrow is crazy sock day! We marked a new month with our new attendance. This month we are putting our leprechaun on the shamrock! Top of the morning to you! The children love checking in on the Smartboard. This afternoon we read the book "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and then did some graphing using "fishy" crackers. The best part - once our graphing was done we got to eat the crackers! Since Dr. Seuss was the king of rhyming we did some language activities and made some rhymes of our own! We made some "cat hats" and created some rhymes. Even our "firemen" were doing some writing today. Dr. Seuss seems to have inspired everyone - I wonder if they were planning a fire drill? Have a wonderful evening! :)
