We have had a very busy Monday. We continued our "Winter" inquiry and read the book "Canada's Arctic Animals". We had a great time discussing how these animals enjoyed the winter weather and how they have adapted to it. We are creating an arctic scene in our sensory bin ~ we started painting egg carton pieces to make igloos and icebergs! Stay tuned for pics ... we are waiting for the paint to dry!
Monday, January 19th: We have had a very busy Monday. We have been working very hard in math. We have been exploring numbers, counting and measurement. We have also been looking at different shapes and enjoy creating pictures with the tangrams! Here are some great pics of our work! We have some new toys in the dramatic play area! We were making birthday cupcakes! The party was awesome! We had library this afternoon! Mrs. Szeidman came to us as the library was being used for kindergarten registration! We loved having it in our classroom. After Mrs. Szeidman left, we had two friends share some new books - Pete the Cat and Flat Stanley! Have a wonderful evening! :)
