Friday, April 24th: We have had a very busy Earth Week. The children worked very hard learning about recycling and why we do it. They sorted many different materials into the proper "bins" and touted the importance of composting during the "Eco Parade" on Thursday. Here are some great pictures of their explorations! As you may have noticed one of our friends celebrated his birthday yesterday! You can see his finished crown in the photo above but here is a picture of him creating the crown! Happy Birthday! It was fun to be in a parade on your birthday!! We spent some time looking at our newly planted seeds. We can't believe that they have already begun to sprout. They inspired us to do some beautiful painting for our board! Our friends designed some great t-shirts to wear in the parade! They were very colorful and proudly supported Earth Day! Once they had created their t-shirt they modeled it in the parade! Check out the great photos! Finally, our hockey play-off pool is going strong! Mrs. Dilabio is doing really well with her pics - I think it is because of her advisers! Our friends have even gotten into spelling out their favorite players names with the magnetic letters. Have a wonderful weekend! :)
